Signature Saddle Story

Mule Power Farms Signature Saddle Mule Power Farms has contracted with an American, second-generation master saddle-maker to manufacture saddles to our specifications. We have ridden and have closely inspected the product. We have also had our prototypes examined by a local, retired saddle maker who is also a long-time mule man.

We now proudly offer our Mule Power Farms Signature Saddles for sale. Our quality product is expected to last a lifetime of recreational use. This work of western art can also be used as a show saddle. Our saddle is a high quality product which is a great value and is presented as a complete package including front and rear cinches, britchin’ and breast collar.

Note to buyers...

Mule Power Farms does not recommend the use of the ever-popular felt saddle pad. These pads soil easily and if not kept extremely clean, become abrasive—especially under riders who shift their weight from leg to leg (as you would while leading a pack animal).

We have observed many instances of saddle sores at the withers and mid-back with these pads when used with a variety of saddle brands.

Instead, we recommend a 1/2” to 3/4” thickness wooly pad and suggest that our signature saddle not be “over padded.”
